This team member will work closely with our distributor network and key account customers to develop our portfolio of beers and meet annual sales objectives. The role will include, but is not limited to:
Managing and tracking budgets
Conducting staff trainings and distributor seminars
Implementing on & off premise account programs
Communicating and monitoring distributor sales incentives
Identifying and participating in influential beer and city culinary festivals
Preparing quarterly business reviews
The role will require travel up to 40% of the month to manage each market effectively.
The qualified candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing or any other relevant discipline and a minimum of 5 year of sales experience in the 3-tier beverage system. This person must have experience managing distributors or a team to deliver specific objectives. Qualified applicants will demonstrate outstanding planning skills, an analytical mind and be technically savvy. Any candidate should possess strong problem-solving skills, capable of working with a variety of stakeholders to gain alignment and deliver results. Excellent communication skills are a must, as the position requires presenting, selling and advocating for Grayton Beer in a variety of formal and informal settings. Strong leadership and influencing skills are also a requirement since this person will be interfacing with owners and senior management of businesses and their sales teams. Finally, the right candidate will live in the territory and be able to work evenings and weekends as necessary to develop a presence for our beers in the market.
