At the beginning of August, Grayton Beer Company opened our brewery bay doors and welcomed 1,000 pounds of freshly harvested Centennial hops from Hop Head Farms, located in Hickory Corners, Michigan. The “wet hops,” as they are commonly known in the beer business, traveled 1,000 miles on a refrigerated truck and arrived at our Santa Rosa Beach brewery in early August.

Following the arrival of the hops, our brew team, under the leadership of Head Brewer Tyler White, worked throughout the day to incorporate the fresh hops into their fall seasonal beer.

In celebration of the release, called CentenniALE, Grayton Beer Company hosted a Harvest Ale Release Party on Thursday, September 28, 2017. The event included live music by the Graytones and the Back Beach Barbecue food truck on site.

Upon arrival, each guest will receive a token for a complimentary sample of the CentenniALE.

Currently, the CentenniAle is available exclusively in our taproom, but soon the harvest brew will be available at a number of key accounts through our distributors.
